The Spy Who Loved Me (1977)
The Spy Who Loved Me is the tenth movie in the Bond franchise and features Roger Moore as 007.
The movies pre credit scene shows a ski chase in which Bond kills a Russian agent. This becomes significant during later events.
When Bond reaches headquarters, he is sent to investigate an ingenious submarine tracking system by unknown scientists. This system is to be sold to the highest bidder in the black market.
During this time nuclear submarines from the American, British and Soviet Fleets disappear. Bond is sent to Egypt to contact the seller and retrieve the tracking system. There he encounters Major Anya Amasova, a Russian official sent to the country with the same objective.
Unknown to Bond, Amasova is the lover of the Russian agent Bond killed at the start.
When Amsova learns of it she promises to kill bond after their mission is complete. They are forced to work together when their superiors learn that Karl Stromberg, a shipping tycoon is behind the submarine disappearances.
Bond travels with Amasova to Strombergs headquarter; during the journey he saves her life from Jaws, a giant assassin with steel teeth. They discover Strombergs plan of destroying the world by targeting American and Soviet cities to start WWIII, while Stromberg himself would live in his underwater dream world....
